My Story in Sports and Photography
My journey in photography began when I was 12, receiving my first camera for my birthday. That same year, I joined the yearbook club and started capturing images of everyone and everything around me.
In high school, my passion for photography flourished through my photography classes. Combining this passion with my love for sports, I began photographing my high school sports teams and quickly realized that sports photography was my favorite genre.
In college, I began working in the sports information office. My role includes working behind the scenes of Seton Hall Athletics PR and Media team. This led me to join the Pirate Sports Network (PSN), where we live stream many Seton Hall athletics home games. Through PSN, I gained valuable experience in broadcasting and streaming live events. Additionally, I worked with the creative team to manage and create content for Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and other social media platforms. My creative talents shine through this, and I have created content that has been posted by Seton Hall Athletics, Overtime, March Madness, BIG EAST, and more.
My entire life has always revolved around the sports world in some way, shape, or form.
It all started when my dad introduced me to racing as a baby. As a NASCAR and dirt track fan, my dad's enthusiasm for racing naturally influenced me. Growing up, I was signed up to play almost every sport, from soccer to cheerleading, swimming, and even kickball. In high school, I played volleyball, field hockey, and pole vaulted for the track team.
My interest in hockey began in middle school when I became a New York Rangers fan. During the pandemic in 2020, I started posting hockey TikToks, reaching ten thousand followers and half a million likes at the peak of my content phase. My content even caught the attention of the NHL official page, which followed and reposted my videos.
My work focuses on creating sports content, and working in sports media has evolved from a passion into a defining aspect of my life. I’m grateful for the path I’ve been on and plan to keep working harder to accomplish my goals and dreams.
